Gone but not forgotten

O.K, Typing this for a second time now Because of my stupid a key, I've taken to copying an a from a webpage recently and just Ctrl+V'ing lately for a. but apparently Ctrl+a select your entire post (my a key presses itself now) so it then replaces my entire post with aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, and that's no fun to read. needless to say i have removed my a key from the keyboard for the time being.

So, Following the trend of Tai and Nystal, i am posting here after a long absence, this is partly due to nothing to report, but mainly due to some personal things I've been dealing with. My grandfather passed away on the 7th of august, now this post may not interest some people as it is to do a lot with my life, things i have been through. Blasphemy!

Now, i know of at least 1 person who will stop talking to me after reading this post, but oh well. once again i find my self becoming bored in WoW, my warlock is partially geared, and i can't bring myself to fully focus on grinding the honor needed to complete the process, the other day i decided i would level a horde character to see how the experience differed, but looking at my recent track record of levelling, its unlikely to progress much beyond level 30. Now, the horde char i started levelling was a paladin, partly because they are easy and fun to level, the other reason was because, although i already have a holy/ret paladin, i want to try that of which we must not speak........

Curses!

So, once again i have become bored of my death knight for the same reasons as before, i still cannot get into that damn rune system, i gave it a fair whack, got my DK into northrend but gave up all hope of me ever levelling it to max level. In place of this i have finally decided it is time to finish levelling my warlock, which has been sat at level 72 since god knows when, technically it should have been my third 80 as i started levelling it before my paladin (using it to grant levels to my paladin through recruit a friend. when the link time expired i sorta switched focus to my paladin, seeing as at the time that's the char i really wanted at max level).

Of blood and snow

So, after much deliberation i finally decided it was time to jump on the band wagon and level my death knight, most of you will have probably noticed me spending most of my time when not raiding on him over the last few days. i finally managed to get him to northrend level and have begun the long grind to 80, and to help speed this up Via the dungeon finder, i have dual specced to be able to tank as well. now obviously my main is a tank and because of this i do have quite a bit of curiosity as to how different tanking classes compare (i know nystal will most likely give me the silent treatment for this but at one point i was trying to build up a tanking set for my paladin, after having a quick go at 'paladin tanking' on the ptr. needless to say i never got round to it).

The state of raiding

So, i don't know if any of you have noticed this or if its just my perception, but I've found myself logging onto warcraft less over the past few weeks, now this week it may just seem that way due to a change in shifts, I'm working 9-5 Monday to Friday, whereas I'm used to having a full Thursday and Friday with nothing to do, so I'm normally on warcraft. Now it's possible that the fact I'm not spending near enough a full day logged on makes it seem like I'm on less, but what I've found is that when i do log on, I either don't know what i want to do, or can't really be bothered to do anything.

The world of blogging

Greetings! I've finally taken a dive into the world of blogging, it's not something ive done before because i haven't really had much to blog about. But i've decided to follow the few other guildies who have started blogging. A warning now, this blog will mostly be containing warcraft stuff/rants, i'll get a link put up on the guild site for it but i won't advertise it to anyone else, but if anyone else, whether it be my RL mates or randomers stumble upon this, you have been warned! Of course if something non warcraft related happens that i feel the need to rant about it will most likely end up on here, but thats pretty much it, welcome to my blog!
